Antique Carved Oak English Blanket Chest.This period English blanket chest or trunk is all original and a nice diminutive size. This period Antique English blanket chest is hand carved front and was made with wooden pin construction out of oak. This period English chest dates from the late 17th to early 18th century. Measures 42 and one half inches wide,19 inches deep and 18 and one half inches high.

Chinese lacquer mother of pearl travel box for food. This Chinese box was used to transport food. The are two compartments with a large covered lid. This antique food storage box measures 16 inches to the top of its handle and 9 and tree quarter inches wide. The entire box is inlaid with mother of pearl depicting flowers and birds. The inside lacquer paint has some loss here and there but the outside is in very good used as found original condition.

This 18th century antique brass snuff box measures 2 and three quarters inches long by 1 and seven eighths inches wide and is 1 and one quarter inches high. Made circa 1780 to 1810 of brass and iridescent mother of pearl shell. Probably English. The top is hinged, and the inside of the bottom panel is engraved "Martha Hosmer". The top and each side panel is minutely engraved with utmost precision and delicacy.This can be seen in the thumbnail images.
