Victorian quadruple silver plated dresser box made by the Wilcox Company of Meriden CT c1880. This large jewelry box has an engraved scene all around depicting a medieval village surrounded by a forest. Measures 11 and one quarter inches long by 3 and one half inches deep and 3 and three quarter inches high. This is one of the best silver plated boxes we have acquired in years. It is in excellent condition, with hardly any wear at all to the plate. Sorry, we do not have the original key.
